How do I control the equipment in a meeting room?
The DeWALT Seminar Room and the DeWALT Conference Room have Extron MediaLink Controllers which allow you to power up/down the projector as well as select the input source. For the seminar room you will find the controls for raising and lowering the projection screen above the controller. While the controls for the retracting screen are self explanatory a quick guide for the MediaLink Controller can be found below.
Turns the projector ON.
Turns the projector OFF.
Input selection for the VGA Connector located under the black panel on the top of the podium in the seminar room and in the middle of the table in the conference room.
Toggles the image mode for the VGA input signal between Standard and Presentation – Please feel free to switch between the two modes until you find the one that best fits your content
Standard: Suitable for projecting a computer screen or watching video in a brightish room – This image mode emphasizes white tones
Presentation: Suitable for viewing text-based images in a brightish room
Input selection for the Airtame streaming device – select this and then connect to the device via Miracast (Windows), AirPlay (iOS/macOS), or Google Cast(Android).
Toggles the image mode for the Airtame input signal between Photo/sRGB and Dynamic – Please feel free to switch between the two modes until you find the one that best fits your content
Photo/sRGB: Suitable for viewing images from sRGB-compatible digital cameras or Blu-ray videos in a moderately dark room
Dynamic: Suitable for watching video in a brightish room
Raises and Lowers the Volume
